Episode Guide

Episode 1: The Formula

Romance audiobook narrator Shannon sets out to manifest a real-life romcom by plotting to set up her overworked sister, Claire, with the handsome handyman next door, Tony. But the meet-cute she orchestrates quickly spirals into chaos. Claire faces a career crisis. 

Episode 2: Forced Proximity... and Queso

As Claire navigates a job transition and recovers from an injury, Shannon insists she spend time at her house, creating more opportunities for Claire to cross paths with Tony as he builds a treehouse in the backyard. 

Episode 3: Camp Claire

Claire gets roped into taking care of the kids while Shannon and her husband, Brian, are out of town. Tony and his daughter, who is visiting from Nashville, join them for an outing in downtown Atlanta. Meanwhile, Shannon has a celebrity sighting at her work conference.

Episode 4: Celebrity Encounters of the Werepanther Kind

Claire and Tony take the kids on an adventure to Six Flags, followed by a tender moment between the two of them in the backyard treehouse. Shannon appears in a celebrity video that quickly goes viral, distracting her from her matchmaking scheme.

Episode 5: The One Where Shannon Finds Out

Claire begins to suspect that Shannon is meddling in her love life and confronts her about it. Shannon, unsure whether her scheme is actually working, is thrilled to discover that Claire and Tony have been seeing each other. Shannon and Claire clash with their parents over dinner.

Episode 6: Claire Falls... Into Old Habits

Claire lets work interfere with a planned kayaking trip with Tony. After she misses his art exhibition, the two arrange a secret rendezvous in New York, where both will be traveling for work… Claire for a job interview and Tony for an art installation. Meanwhile, after Shannon’s viral video success, Brian becomes a stay-at-home dad.

Episode 7: The "D" Stands for Dating

After Claire’s interview, she and Tony spend the day sightseeing in New York while Shannon and Brian continue to meddle from behind the scenes. An impromptu visit to the Museum of Sex ends with Claire and Tony sharing a cab ride back to her hotel.

Episode 8: Bring the Heat But Hold the Jalapeños

Tony cuts his New York trip short and rushes to Nashville after his daughter is injured in an accident. When Claire visits him there, she shares that she’s accepted the job in New York. Despite the distance, she and Tony decide to keep seeing each other. Claire confesses a spicy secret to Shannon.

Episode 9: Power, Pettiness, or Passion: A Choice

Claire and Tony navigate the challenges of a long-distance relationship. During a long-overdue trip to New York to visit Claire, Tony reveals that he plans to stay in Nashville permanently, putting their future together in jeopardy. Shannon helps Claire confront a harsh truth that love may not be waiting for her when she returns home.
